Scrub Scout - Casual Registered Nurse (CRU)

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality Scrub/Scout nursing care across various specialty areas including ENT, Plastics, Ortho, General, Cardiac, Thoracics, Urology, and Gynae
• Work flexibly across multiple Epworth hospital locations including Richmond, Freemasons, Eastern, Hawthorn, Camberwell, and Geelong
• Collaborate effectively with operating room teams to ensure patient-centered care
• Manage shifts efficiently using the ShiftMatch mobile app
• Adapt to various clinical situations with a solutions-focused mindset

Requirements

• Current AHPRA Registered Nurse (RN) registration
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant perioperative experience
• Flexibility to work across multiple locations and different clinical roles
• Strong time management and prioritization skills
• Ability to work Monday through Friday, with a high need for Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday shifts
• Availability for twilight shifts (17:00 starts) is highly desirable

Preferred Qualifications

• Postgraduate qualification in Perioperative Nursing
