Scrub Nurse/Anaesthetic Nurse

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care in the theatre environment for orthopaedic and trauma procedures
• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the surgical area, ensuring it is safe and sterile
• Collaborate effectively with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and comfort
• Administer anaesthetic care and monitor patients during procedures

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) with valid NMC registration
• Minimum 6 months experience in a theatre setting, specifically in orthopaedics and trauma
• Proficient in aseptic techniques and infection control practices
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
