About the role

Responsibilities

  • Drive Cologuard product growth within medical practices to meet sales goals in the assigned geography
  • Develop and implement business and account plans to increase product visibility and awareness
  • Build and maintain relationships with healthcare providers, clinical stakeholders, and administrators
  • Analyze local healthcare ecosystems to identify opportunities for improving patient outcomes through Exact Sciences' solutions
  • Educate target physician groups on product value propositions and the importance of colorectal cancer screening
  • Utilize CRM tools to capture market intelligence, sales activities, and funnel development data
  • Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams, including Marketing and Medical Affairs, to execute account strategies

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Sales, Business, Marketing, Science, or a related field, or 4 years of relevant experience
  • 2+ years of experience in sales, inside sales, or account management
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (no more than two moving violations in the last 36 months)
  • Ability to travel locally on a daily basis to support the assigned territory
  • Strong verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work a designated schedule, including occasional nights or weekends as needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in medical device or diagnostic sales
  • Experience working with primary care physicians
  • Background in commissioned, tangible product sales
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and CRM software
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, complex, and entrepreneurial environment
