About the role
Responsibilities
- Drive product growth for Cologuard by establishing the importance of colorectal cancer screening within medical practices and local healthcare ecosystems
- Develop and implement business and account plans to increase product visibility and maximize sales growth
- Build and maintain a network of relationships with clinical stakeholders and administrators to identify unmet needs
- Analyze local healthcare treatment journeys to identify account opportunities and improve clinical decision-making
- Utilize CRM tools, Excel, and Tableau to make data-driven decisions regarding account potential and opportunities
- Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams, including Medical Affairs and Marketing, to execute customer-specific engagement approaches
- Educate target physician groups on product value propositions and the importance of screening using approved clinical studies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Sales, Business Management, Marketing, Science, or a related field, or 4 years of relevant experience
- 2+ years of experience in sales, inside sales, or account management
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (no more than two moving violations in the last 36 months)
- Legal authorization to work in the US without current or future sponsorship
- Ability to travel locally on a daily basis and perform work on mobile devices or computers
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in medical device or diagnostic sales
- Experience working with primary care physicians
- Background in commissioned, tangible product sales
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and CRM tools
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work in complex, fast-paced environments
