About the role
Responsibilities
- Drive product growth for Cologuard by establishing the importance of colorectal cancer screening within medical practices and local healthcare ecosystems
- Develop and implement business and account plans to increase product visibility and maximize sales growth
- Build and maintain a network of relationships with clinical stakeholders and administrators to identify unmet needs
- Analyze local healthcare market landscapes to identify opportunities for improving patient and population health outcomes
- Educate target physician and stakeholder groups about product value propositions using approved clinical studies and marketing aids
- Utilize CRM tools to capture customer interactions, market intelligence, and funnel development data
- Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams, including Marketing and Sales Operations, to execute targeted business strategies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Sales, Business Management, Marketing, Science, or a related field, or 4 years of relevant experience
- 2+ years of experience in sales, inside sales, or account management
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (no more than two moving violations in the last 36 months)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, including active listening and questioning techniques
- Excellent presentation skills with the ability to convey complex concepts clearly and professionally
- Ability to travel locally on a daily basis and perform work on mobile devices or computers
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in medical device or diagnostic sales
- Experience working with primary care physicians
- Background in commissioned, tangible product sales
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and CRM software
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, complex, and entrepreneurial environment
