About the role

Responsibilities

  • Drive product growth for Cologuard in medical practices to meet sales goals within the Lincoln, NE territory.
  • Develop and implement business and account plans to increase visibility and awareness of company products.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance the system of care and improve patient outcomes through diagnostic solutions.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers and clinical stakeholders.
  • Utilize CRM tools to capture market intelligence, sales activities, and funnel development data.
  • Educate target physician groups on product value propositions and the importance of colorectal cancer screening.
  • Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams, including Marketing and Sales Operations, to execute account strategies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Sales, Business Management, Marketing, Science, or a related field (or 4 years of relevant experience).
  • 2+ years of experience in sales, inside sales, or account management.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (no more than two moving violations in the last 36 months).
  • Strong verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel locally on a daily basis and perform work on mobile devices or computers.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in medical device or diagnostic sales.
  • Experience working with primary care physicians.
  • Background in commissioned, tangible product sales.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and CRM software.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, complex, and entrepreneurial environment.
