About the role
Responsibilities
- Drive product growth of Cologuard in medical practices to meet sales goals within the assigned geography.
- Establish the importance of colorectal cancer screening and deliver diagnostic solutions to healthcare providers.
- Develop and implement business and account plans to increase product visibility and maximize sales growth.
- Build and maintain a network of relationships with clinical stakeholders and administrators within the local healthcare ecosystem.
- Analyze the local treatment journey to identify account opportunities and improve clinical decision-making.
- Utilize CRM tools to capture market intelligence, sales activities, and funnel development data.
- Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams, including Marketing and Medical Affairs, to execute customer-specific engagement approaches.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Sales, Business Management, Marketing, Science, or a related field (or 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree).
- 2+ years of experience in sales, inside sales, or account management.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (no more than two moving violations in the last 36 months).
- Strong verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel locally on a daily basis and perform work on mobile devices or computers.
- Legal authorization to work in the country of employment without current or future sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in medical device or diagnostic sales.
- Experience working with primary care physicians.
- Background in commissioned, tangible product sales.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and CRM tools.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, complex, and entrepreneurial environment.
