About the role

Responsibilities

  • Drive product growth for Cologuard by establishing the importance of colorectal cancer screening within medical practices.
  • Generate deep insight into local healthcare ecosystems to identify opportunities to enhance the system of care.
  • Build and maintain a network of relationships with clinical stakeholders and administrators within assigned accounts.
  • Develop and implement business and account plans to increase product visibility and maximize sales growth.
  • Educate target physician and stakeholder groups about Exact Sciences products and value propositions using approved clinical studies.
  • Utilize CRM tools to capture customer interactions, market intelligence, and funnel development data.
  • Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams, including Marketing and Sales Operations, to execute business goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Sales, Business Management, Marketing, Science, or a related field (or 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree).
  • 2+ years of previous sales, inside sales, or account management experience (or 1+ years of sales experience plus 1+ years in a healthcare setting).
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (no more than two moving violations in the last 36 months).
  • Ability to travel locally on a daily basis.
  • Legal authorization to work in the country of employment without current or future sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in the sale of medical devices or diagnostics.
  • Experience working with primary care physicians.
  • Background in commissioned, tangible product sales.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Outlook, and CRM tools.
  • Strong organizational and proactive problem-solving skills.
