SCL Engineers

Responsibilities

• Supervise site operations for secondary lining works, including substrate preparation and installation sequencing
• Ensure waterproofing membranes are installed correctly and protected prior to concrete placement
• Monitor reinforcement placement, shutters/formwork systems, and concrete pouring activities
• Ensure all works comply with approved drawings, method statements, and Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs)
• Liaise with designers, subcontractors, and quality teams to resolve technical issues
• Maintain strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
• Record progress, inspections, and essential quality assurance documentation

Requirements

• Experience supervising site operations within a civil engineering or tunnelling environment
• Proven ability to monitor reinforcement placement and waterproofing membrane installation
• Proficiency in maintaining quality assurance documentation
• TEEPS and confined space certifications are highly desirable
