About the Company
NewLimit is a biotechnology company working to radically extend human healthspan. We’re developing medicines to treat age-related diseases by reprogramming the epigenome, a new therapeutic mechanism to restore regenerative potential in aged and diseased cells.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Single Cell Technology, Epigenetic Editing, and Predictive Modeling teams to design and evaluate epigenetic reprogramming interventions
- Develop scalable functional assays in T cells and Tregs to predict therapeutic activity
- Design and lead in vivo and in vitro immunology studies to support target discovery and preclinical development
- Drive research in Treg biology, including differentiation, stability, and suppressive function
- Author or contribute to study reports, internal data packages, and regulatory-supporting documentation
- Mentor junior scientists and foster a collaborative, rigorous scientific culture
Requirements
- Ph.D. in immunology, cell biology, or a related field with 2+ years of industry experience, or BS/MS with 8+ years of relevant industry experience
- Hands-on experience with multi-parameter flow cytometry
- Experience designing in vivo models of autoimmune or inflammatory disease
- Experience with primary immune cell isolation, ex vivo culture, and Treg functional assay
- Experience authoring IND-supporting study reports
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with pooled in vitro or in vivo screening approaches (e.g., CRISPR fitness screens, Perturb-seq, CROP-seq)
- Experience with rheumatoid arthritis and/or colitis models
- Experience managing or partnering with CROs to support preclinical studies
- Familiarity with basic computational tools for data analysis (e.g., Python, R)
