About the role
About the Company
Cloverleaf Bio is an early-stage therapeutics company that is developing a new class of engineered tRNA therapeutics. Our tRNAs target an underappreciated vulnerability of cancer: addiction to high levels of tRNA modifying enzymes.
Responsibilities
- Design and perform low and high-throughput RNA screening assays
- Generate RNA sequencing libraries
- Perform mechanistic studies in cells on lead candidate RNAs
- Explore new disease areas beyond oncology
Requirements
- PhD in Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Genetics or related fields
- Strong problem solving skills
- Ability to independently drive research projects to completion
- Experience with RNA/DNA extraction, PCR, RT-PCR, qPCR, and western blotting
- Proficiency in mammalian cell culture and passaging
Preferred Qualifications
- Competency generating libraries for RNA sequencing (mRNA-seq, CLIP-seq, etc.)
- Ability to analyze NGS data using bioinformatics tools
- Research experience in tRNA, RNA biology, or RNA modifications
- Experience with RNA therapeutics design and lipid nanoparticles
- Experience with mouse models of oncology
