Scientist

Responsibilities

• Independently develop, design, and execute experiments to support research, feasibility, and product development efforts.
• Analyze complex data using statistical methods and prepare findings in the form of tables, graphs, and presentations.
• Troubleshoot and optimize experimental procedures and communicate solutions to management.
• Maintain detailed laboratory notebooks, batch records, and project documentation.
• Perform literature and market research to support new research or product areas.
• Lead experiments and potentially supervise the work of others across interdisciplinary teams.
• Support the preparation of invention disclosures, patent applications, grant proposals, and scientific papers.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Life Sciences, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
• Strong knowledge in statistics and analytical background.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience in laboratory environments, including handling BSL-2 materials.
• Ability to stand/sit for long periods and spend up to 70% of the day at a laboratory bench.

Preferred Qualifications

• Postdoctoral or industrial research experience.
• Expertise in Phage display or antibody discovery/engineering.
• Experience in molecular biology, structural biology, or membrane protein research.
• Previous supervisory or management experience.
• A strong record of scientific publications.
