About the role

Responsibilities

  • Conduct analytical investigations for quality control, process monitoring, and root cause analysis of technical issues
  • Characterize additives and identify unknown compounds using state-of-the-art analytical techniques
  • Develop, optimize, and validate analytical methods within your area of responsibility
  • Evaluate and interpret analytical data and document results in compliance with internal and regulatory standards
  • Communicate findings effectively through presentations, reports, and potential scientific publications
  • Maintain laboratory operations, including equipment readiness, maintenance coordination, inventory management, and procurement

Requirements

  • PhD in Chemistry
  • Practical experience in the synthesis and analysis of organic compounds (from research or industry)
  • Specialization in organic analytics, specifically chromatographic methods (e.g., GC, HPLC) and mass spectrometry (e.g., GC-MS, LC-MS)
  • Proficiency in using relevant analytical software
  • Strong analytical thinking skills and motivation for laboratory work
  • Fluency in English (written and spoken) for working in an international environment
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to work effectively in a team
