Scientist, Lab Operations

Responsibilities

• Conduct qualitative and quantitative laboratory procedures following safety and GLP protocols
• Prepare biological samples for analysis, including extraction using robotic liquid handlers
• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot laboratory instruments such as Triple Quadrupole Mass Spectrometers and UPLC systems
• Perform equipment calibration, tuning, compound optimization, and integration of chromatographic peaks
• Prepare and upload data to the Watson LIMS system
• Analyze results and report findings to cross-functional stakeholders while adhering to SOPs
• Document experimental workflows accurately to ensure data integrity and compliance

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in applied or laboratory sciences with direct laboratory coursework
• 0–2 years of direct laboratory experience
• Familiarity with general laboratory techniques including pipetting and sample preparation
• Experience with Triple Quadrupole Mass Spectrometers and UPLC systems
• Knowledge of Watson LIMS
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform tasks requiring close eye work and standing/walking
