Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy novel high-throughput assays to measure properties of large sequence libraries
• Use a data-driven approach to optimize assays and apply chemical and biological insights
• Develop and execute pooled assays to measure sequence-to-function in vitro, in cells, and in vivo
• Generate, analyze, and communicate data to impact AI-based molecular design
• Collaborate with biologists, ML/data engineers, and translational experts

Requirements

• PhD and 4+ years of post-PhD experience in industry or research
• Deep knowledge of experimental methods combined with quantitative intuition
• Solid foundation in molecular and cellular biology
• Experience building highly multiplexed assays (e.g., functional screens or single-cell omics)
• Scientific programming skills, preferably in Python
• Ability to work with team members across US and Europe
• Willingness to work onsite at the lab location

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with mammalian synthetic biology for cell therapy
• Knowledge of RNA biology, biochemistry, and biologics drug development
• Understanding of NGS platforms (Illumina, Oxford Nanopore, Pac Bio)
• Experience with large omics datasets via sequencing or mass spectrometry
