About the role

Responsibilities

  • Execute in vivo preclinical disease models and in vitro assays to support pipeline programs in inflammation research
  • Perform hands-on in vivo work primarily with mice and potentially rats
  • Design experiments and execute studies in collaboration with senior and associate scientists
  • Generate high-quality experimental data and ensure studies are organized and prepared
  • Supervise and coordinate tasks for associate scientists to ensure successful study execution
  • Analyze and communicate research results to project teams and the broader department
  • Contribute to project progression by applying a deep understanding of the underlying biology

Requirements

  • Doctorate degree OR Master's degree with 2 years of experience OR Bachelor's degree with 4 years of experience
  • Experience in Immunology or related scientific disciplines
  • Proven experience in in vivo preclinical disease model execution
  • Proficiency with GraphPad Prism and Microsoft Excel
  • Hands-on experience with in vivo dosing and necropsy techniques

Preferred Qualifications

  • PhD with post-doctoral training or drug discovery experience in Immunology, inflammation, or autoimmune disease
  • Experience with respiratory disease models (asthma, COPD, fibrosis) or inflammatory models (colitis, lupus, RA)
  • Expertise in lung function measurements, imaging, and inhaled drug delivery
  • Proficiency in cellular, biochemical, and molecular biology assays such as ELISA, MSD, and flow cytometry
  • Demonstrated track record of independent critical thinking and scientific achievement
