About the role
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and validate quantitative cell-based transcriptional assays, including high-content RNA FISH and qRT-PCR, suitable for HTS and automation
- Implement assay miniaturization and automation workflows in collaboration with automation engineers to deliver reproducible, high-throughput runs
- Independently lead multiple screening projects, interpret results, and coordinate follow-up validation experiments
- Partner with Genetic Medicine and therapeutic-area teams to communicate technical recommendations and drive decisions for candidate progression
- Utilize high-content imaging assays and automation platforms to contribute to siRNA delivery, uptake, and cellular localization studies
Requirements
- Doctorate degree OR Master's degree with 2 years of In Vitro High-Content Imaging Assay Development experience OR Bachelor's degree with 4 years of experience
- Proven experience in In Vitro High-Content Imaging Assay Development
Preferred Qualifications
- Excellent cell culture techniques
- Experience with siRNA transfection and RNA FISH assays
- High-content imaging assay development using Opera Phenix
- Familiarity with lab automation instruments
- Strong critical thinking and troubleshooting skills
