About the role
Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and troubleshoot in vivo and in vitro preclinical research to support pharmaceutical formulation performance.
- Mentor and supervise team members, providing guidance on assigned projects and supporting professional growth.
- Generate, analyze, and tabulate data, writing technical reports and providing actionable recommendations.
- Lead project teamwork and provide technical oversight to internal and external project teams.
- Assist with downstream processing of samples for flow cytometry, DNA/RNA/protein extraction, qPCR, and other immunological assays.
- Conduct scientific literature searches to identify novel research opportunities and assist in the development of patentable ideas.
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation in accordance with SOPs.
Requirements
- PhD in Immunology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a Life Sciences discipline.
- 5-7+ years of related scientific experience.
- Expert knowledge of preclinical methodologies, including the use of nanoparticles in experimental in vitro and in vivo systems.
- Proven experience in developing novel assays to assess nanoparticle efficacy and immunogenicity.
- Demonstrated leadership experience in mentoring team members and managing multiple research projects.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to translate complex data into insights.
