Scientist I/II, Bioanalytical (LC-MS)

Responsibilities

• Develop, optimize, and validate bioanalytical methods to measure proteins, oligos, and lipids in biological samples
• Design and execute experiments from sample preparation to LC-MS/MS operation and data analysis
• Guide CROs for method transfer and serve as a technical expert for troubleshooting
• Write internal assay protocols, ROPs, qualification plans, and sample analysis reports
• Provide maintenance, quality control, and troubleshooting of LC-MS systems

Requirements

• PhD in Analytical Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or Pharmaceutical Science
• 0-3 years of industry experience in biotech, pharmaceutical, or CROs
• Hands-on experience in LC-MS based bioanalysis of proteins, oligos, or small molecules in biological matrices
• In-depth technical expertise in LC-MS, LC-MS/MS, and chromatography methodologies
• Proficiency with Sciex Triple Quadrupole LC-MS/MS or Thermo Orbitrap mass spectrometers (Q Exactive or Exploris series)

Preferred Qualifications

• Postdoc experience
• Experience with lab automation technologies
