Scientist III - Analytical Chemistry and Molecular Biology

Responsibilities

• Support high-throughput, pre-formulation, pre-qualification, robustness, and admixture testing
• Analyze samples through reporting of results and documentation following appropriate methods, protocols, and procedures
• Manage samples and monitor controlled temperature units
• Follow all applicable laboratory safety and hygiene procedures
• Perform basic instrument troubleshooting and accurate reagent preparations

Requirements

• B.S. with 3 to 5 years of experience, or M.S. with 1 to 2 years of experience in analytical chemistry or biologics testing
• Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Biology, or a similar life science
• Experience with separations for large molecules or plate-based assay experience
• Proficiency in analyzing biologics using techniques such as HPLC/UPLC, electrophoretic methods (CE-SDS/cIEF), ELISA, or binding potency assays
• Experience with qPCR or basic molecular biology techniques
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams)
• Strong communication skills and high attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with compendial testing (UV 280, pH, and Physical Observations)
• Experience with electronic laboratory notebooks (ELNs), LIMS, or Empower
• Experience with high-throughput liquid handling systems (e.g., Tecan, Bravo)
• Knowledge of sample submission and management processes
• Experience working with Biosafety Level 2 cabinets/hoods
