Scientist III - Analytical Chemist

Responsibilities

• Provide analytical method development and validation support
• Perform hands-on chromatographic analysis using UPLC, HPLC, and GC techniques
• Conduct Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) and ultraviolet-visible (UV-VIS) spectroscopic analysis
• Execute method and instrument troubleshooting, specifically for HPLC and GC systems
• Manage multiple ongoing projects including routine assay and impurity testing
• Process and interpret analytical data for drug formulations

Requirements

• BS degree with 3-5 years of relevant experience, or MS degree with 1-2 years of relevant experience
• Hands-on experience with chromatographic analysis (UPLC, HPLC, GC)
• Proficiency with Empower chromatographic software
• Experience with FTIR and UV-VIS spectroscopic analysis
• Strong organizational skills to manage parallel projects and routine testing
• Proficiency in written and spoken English

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct experience in the analysis of drug products
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Strong self-motivation and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
