Scientist II, Research and Development

Responsibilities

• Conjugate fluorochromes or organic compounds onto purified monoclonal antibodies and reagents
• Monitor conjugation processes and select appropriate fractions to maximize yield and quality
• Investigate and develop new methods and technologies for process advancements
• Prepare technical reports, summaries, and quantitative analyses of research projects
• Tabulate and analyze data using statistical software packages
• Prepare protocols for simple experiments and revise Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
• Purify monoclonal antibodies from serum, ascites fluid, or tissue culture supernatant using chromatographic techniques
• Maintain meticulous records, equipment logs, and comply with regulatory requirements
• Promote a safe work environment and participate in Environmental Health and Safety programs

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• 5 years of laboratory experience
