Scientist I - Solution Prep & Lab Support - FSP

Responsibilities

• Complete routine laboratory procedures for preparing mammalian cell culture media and purification buffers following SOPs and GLPs
• Collaborate with process development scientists to develop or improve hydration procedures for complex cell culture media
• Maintain accurate records and report results using an electronic laboratory notebook (ELN)
• Perform routine maintenance and calibration of lab equipment, including balances and pH meters
• Track and document chemical and media usage and inventory
• Maintain clean room standards and practice good housekeeping to prevent contamination

Requirements

• B.S. degree in a relevant scientific field
• 0-1 years of relevant laboratory experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
• Ability to lift and move up to 25lbs
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
