Scientist I

Responsibilities

• Perform antibody selections using phage and yeast display technologies
• Validate antibody libraries and optimize antibody affinity
• Execute molecular biology techniques including PCR, cloning, and DNA assembly
• Design genes and primers and analyze sequences for accuracy and optimization
• Follow and contribute to the development of standard operating procedures (SOPs)
• Maintain accurate and detailed records using electronic lab notebooks
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows and improve processes

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Chemical Engineering, Immunology, or a related life science field
• 3+ years of relevant experience in biotech or pharma
• Proficiency in molecular biology techniques such as PCR, cloning, and sequence analysis
• Experience with gene and primer design
• Strong attention to detail and excellent documentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Interest or experience in flow cytometry, yeast display, or lab automation
