Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute in-use assessments for new fragrance ingredients to determine commercial viability
• Act as the key point of contact for R&D/AoP platform perfumers
• Prepare application samples for ingredient evaluations in accords or finished fragrances
• Run ingredient evaluations at key consumer touchpoints against relevant benchmarks and KPIs
• Decide on Go/No Go recommendations for specific materials based on R&D outline KPIs
• Identify relevant usage level ranges for accepted new materials
• Perform stability testing and evaluation of application samples
• Manage data for all new material assessments to ensure historical tracking
• Provide assessment data to support value propositions and demonstrations for commercialization
• Arrange sensory panel evaluations as required

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or higher in organic chemistry
• 3+ years of scent experience in fragrance ingredient projects or programs
• Strong organizational and project management capabilities
• Analytical thinking and creative problem-solving skills
• Ability to smell fragrance ingredients
• High intrinsic motivation with a hands-on, results-oriented mentality
