Scientist I Analytical Chemist

Responsibilities

• Develop LC-MS methods for ADME/DMPK applications and support new assay development
• Conduct production assays primarily in ADME Toxicology Services
• Perform troubleshooting and maintenance of Mass Spectrometers and HPLC units
• Maintain high data quality and reproducibility through rigorous QC review
• Manage inventory of buffers, reagents, and finished goods
• Support the validation of new methods and contribute to the expansion of service lines
• Adhere to department SOPs and comply with GxP site requirements

Requirements

• B.S. with 5+ years of relevant lab experience, M.S. with 3+ years, or Ph.D. with 1+ year
• Direct experience with LC-MS or LC-UV in a CRO or industry laboratory setting
• Expertise in mass spectrometry-based quantification for ADME/DMPK applications
• Experience with analytical method development, optimization, and validation (FDA, ICH)
• Proficiency with liquid handling, automation, and solid-phase extraction (SPE)
• Experience working within a Quality Management System

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Sciex® or Waters instrumentation
• Background in HTS applications and large-scale screening
• Experience in small team leadership or project management
• Strong ability to interpret technical reports and perform statistical analyses
