About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop new methods for lab chemical and material analysis capabilities
- Partner with customers to resolve complex challenges, such as factory contamination issues
- Guide laboratory projects, including MDL studies and continuous improvement initiatives
- Perform routine and non-routine sample analysis and data interpretation
- Ensure optimum lab instrument performance and support preventive maintenance programs
- Prepare analysis reports and present findings at customer sites
- Empower lab staff through training on new and existing analytical methods
- Collaborate with production labs and R&D personnel to ensure workflow efficiency
Requirements
- BS in Chemistry or similar science with 10 years of experience, OR MS with 5 years of experience, OR PhD with 0-2 years of experience
- Proven experience in analytical method development and data interpretation
- Strong commitment to laboratory safety compliance and maintaining a safe working environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and within a team environment
- Highly organized, disciplined, and goal-oriented mindset
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ICP-MS, GC-MS, or HPIC
- Previous experience working within the semiconductor industry
