Genomics is a science-led transatlantic TechBio combining large-scale genetic and health data with proprietary analytics to accelerate drug discovery and advance predictive, preventative healthcare. The company aims to super-charge drug discovery and help people understand personal risk of chronic diseases through polygenic risk scores.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a strategic consultant on high-impact projects with external pharma and biotech partners
  • Navigate the drug development pipeline from target discovery and validation to patient stratification
  • Utilize advanced statistical techniques to prioritize therapeutic targets and optimize clinical insights
  • Translate complex genomic data into actionable consulting insights for internal teams and external partners

Requirements

  • Experience performing foundational genetic association analyses (e.g. GWAS, burden) on large-scale biobank data
  • Experience working in Trusted Research Environments (TREs) such as UK Biobank and All of Us
  • Strong proficiency in R and/or Python for large-scale genomic analysis
  • Commitment to clean, reproducible, and well-documented code
  • Experience with workflow tools (e.g. Nextflow), version control (Git), and HPC or cloud compute environments
  • Ability to engage with stakeholders and deliver presentations to customers

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with containerisation (Docker/Singularity)
  • Knowledge of distributed computing frameworks
  • Machine learning applied to genomics
  • Contributions to open-source scientific software
