Scientist/Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support the development, scale-up, and purification of biological therapeutics and vaccines within the MSAT organization.
• Execute processes at lab and pilot scales, including process development, characterization, and technology transfer to commercial manufacturing.
• Run various recovery and purification unit operations such as preparative chromatography, Tangential Flow Filtration (TFF), and Normal Flow Filtration (NFF).
• Troubleshoot and resolve process issues by diagnosing technical problems and determining short- and long-term solutions.
• Analyze and document experimental results, providing recommendations to optimize processes and improve yields.
• Prepare technical reports, deliver oral presentations to management, and assist in the preparation of regulatory filing documents.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree with at least 6 years of experience, or an MBA/MS degree with at least 4 years of experience.
• Degree in Chemical/Biochemical Engineering, Biochemistry, or a related biotechnology discipline.
• Proven technical knowledge and skills in the purification of biologics.
• Demonstrated experience operating, monitoring, and controlling purification processes, specifically chromatography, TFF, and NFF.
• Ability to work both independently and within cross-functional team environments.
