About the role

Responsibilities

  • Perform data analysis and interpret results in RD&E or business environments to solve technical and project-related problems.
  • Work independently or within cross-functional teams to manage data collection, preparation, and the application of analytical methods.
  • Develop new theories or expand upon existing ones to solve complex technical challenges.
  • Research internal and external information to support hypothesis testing and project objectives.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to provide data analytics and create novel computational methods or analytical models.

Requirements

  • M.S. or Ph.D. in engineering, computer science, mathematics, statistics, or a related discipline, with a specialization in data analytics.
  • Strong mathematical and programming skills.
  • Deep knowledge of state-of-the-art analytical methods and machine learning techniques, including traditional ML and modern deep learning (CNNs, RNNs, transformers, etc.).
  • Practical experience using machine learning and deep learning frameworks for large-scale data mining.
  • Ability to independently prepare data for machine learning and perform exploratory data analysis.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of emerging technologies in computer vision and general machine learning.
  • Understanding of analytics platforms and the ability to build scalable data solutions.
  • Familiarity with newer AI approaches such as foundation models, LLMs, generative AI, RAG, and MLOps practices.
