Scientist Cheminformatics & Machine Learning

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cheminformatics algorithms and models to accelerate new ingredient discovery
• Develop and optimize machine learning solutions using Python and key libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, and PyTorch
• Apply advanced neural network architectures to solve complex ingredient modeling challenges
• Deploy, monitor, and maintain scalable machine learning workflows on cloud platforms like Azure and AWS
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams of chemists, biologists, and perfumers to translate scientific needs into practical, user-friendly tools
• Leverage modern technologies including generative AI, graph/relational data models, and APIs to drive innovation

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Cheminformatics, Computational Chemistry, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field
• 2–5 years of academic or industry experience in cheminformatics and computational chemistry
• Advanced proficiency in Python and core data science and machine learning libraries
• Strong expertise in cheminformatics tools, specifically RDKit
• Experience with modern development practices such as Git, CI/CD, and AI coding tools
• Experience working with cloud platforms (Azure or AWS)
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills to explain complex models to diverse stakeholders
