About the role
About the Company
Cloverleaf Bio is an early-stage therapeutics company that is developing a new class of engineered tRNA therapeutics. Our tRNAs target an underappreciated vulnerability of cancer: addiction to high levels of tRNA modifying enzymes.
Responsibilities
- Design and execute in-house animal experiments in mice
- Propose, plan, and coordinate toxicity, pharmacology, and efficacy studies at CROs
- Perform cell culture experiments with lead candidate RNAs to predict in vivo outcomes
- Provide in vivo pharmacology and physiology expertise to accelerate development
Requirements
- PhD in Cancer Biology, Molecular Biology, or related fields
- Demonstrated ability to independently plan and execute in-vivo studies, data analysis, and interpretation
- Experience with mouse models of disease, preferably oncology
- Skilled in mammalian cell culture, passaging, and seeding cells
- Strong problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Research experience in RNA biology and/or RNA modifications field
- Experience with therapeutic development
- Experience with design/development of RNA therapeutics and lipid nanoparticles
- Previous experience selecting and overseeing work at CROs
