About the Company

Cloverleaf Bio is an early-stage therapeutics company that is developing a new class of engineered tRNA therapeutics. Our tRNAs target an underappreciated vulnerability of cancer: addiction to high levels of tRNA modifying enzymes.

Responsibilities

• Design and execute in-house animal experiments in mice
• Propose, plan, and coordinate toxicity, pharmacology, and efficacy studies at CROs
• Perform cell culture experiments with lead candidate RNAs to predict in vivo outcomes
• Provide in vivo pharmacology and physiology expertise to accelerate development

Requirements

• PhD in Cancer Biology, Molecular Biology, or related fields
• Demonstrated ability to independently plan and execute in-vivo studies, data analysis, and interpretation
• Experience with mouse models of disease, preferably oncology
• Skilled in mammalian cell culture, passaging, and seeding cells
• Strong problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Research experience in RNA biology and/or RNA modifications field
• Experience with therapeutic development
• Experience with design/development of RNA therapeutics and lipid nanoparticles
• Previous experience selecting and overseeing work at CROs
