About the Company

At Medra, our mission is to use AI, robotics, and biology to accelerate life science research, with the ultimate goal of eradicating disease. We are building a Physical AI Scientist platform that combines autonomous scientific reasoning with human-level robotic dexterity.

Responsibilities

• Act as the scientific subject matter expert to understand customer requirements and guide product development
• Design and execute wet-lab experiments to validate autonomous Physical AI against scientific KPIs
• Deploy on-site to customer labs to validate science, conduct hands-on training, and provide support
• Own installation, QC, and troubleshooting for all laboratory instruments on the Physical AI platform
• Support internal R&D on new protocols and assays
• Maintain detailed experimental records and SOP documentation
• Communicate results clearly and succinctly to stakeholders

Requirements

• Master's degree with 3+ years of experience OR a PhD in biological sciences or a related field
• Deep scientific expertise with a track record of top-tier publications or presentations
• Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills
• Innate curiosity about science and technology
• Ability to travel 25-50%

Preferred Qualifications

• Expertise in adapting scientific workflows for robotics and automation equipment
• Hands-on experience with emerging AI/ML tools and technologies
• Familiarity with enterprise software platforms and lab integrations (ELN, LIMS)
• Experience working in dynamic, start-up environments
