About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform analytical testing and analysis of biopharmaceutical drug substance, drug products, and raw materials
- Execute testing according to Standard Operating Procedures, Deviations, Change Control programs, and cGMP guidelines
- Execute method verifications, validations, and transfers based on signed protocols
- Perform routine and complex analysis of pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical finished products
- Ensure client requests for testing and information are met in a timely and efficient manner
- Participate in departmental projects to improve client services
- Conduct troubleshooting for analytical failures in liaison with scientific leadership
- Provide guidance and leadership to peers and indirect reports
Requirements
- Bachelors, Masters, or Doctorate degree in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biology, or equivalent
- 5-10 years of experience in relevant analytical roles
- Proficiency with LC-MS, ESI-MS/MS, and MALDI-TOF techniques
