Scientist, Biologics

Responsibilities

• Perform analytical testing and analysis of biopharmaceutical drug substance, drug products, and raw materials
• Execute testing according to Standard Operating Procedures, Deviations, Change Control programs, and cGMP guidelines
• Execute method verifications, validations, and transfers based on signed protocols
• Perform routine and complex analysis of pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical finished products
• Ensure client requests for testing and information are met in a timely and efficient manner
• Participate in departmental projects to improve client services
• Conduct troubleshooting for analytical failures in liaison with scientific leadership
• Provide guidance and leadership to peers and indirect reports

Requirements

• Bachelors, Masters, or Doctorate degree in Biochemistry, Chemistry, Biology, or equivalent
• 5-10 years of experience in relevant analytical roles
• Proficiency with LC-MS, ESI-MS/MS, and MALDI-TOF techniques
