Scientist - Assay Development Group

Responsibilities

• Independently design and execute immunoassays (e.g., ELISA) based on literature and scientific protocols.
• Troubleshoot assay-related problems and perform follow-up experiments with minimal guidance.
• Develop immunoassay methods and write assay validation protocols for review.
• Perform validation experiments, summarize results, and write/review validation reports and procedure documents.
• Maintain GLP compliance for all laboratory work and documentation in accordance with FDA regulations and company SOPs.
• Operate and maintain a range of laboratory instrumentation and evaluate new technologies for assay development.
• Summarize and present research results to supervisors through verbal reports and written presentations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Biology or a related field.
• 6+ years of professional experience in a laboratory setting.
• Hands-on knowledge in immunoassays using a variety of detection systems.
• Proven understanding of methodologies used to measure proteins and immunogenicity.

Preferred Qualifications

• Direct experience in bioanalytical assay development.
• Experience working within a GxP-compliant environment.
