Scientist, Analytical Sciences

Responsibilities

• Develop and validate analytical methods for characterizing drug substances and drug products
• Carry out hands-on experiments in the lab and work with external testing sites
• Collaborate closely with product development, pharmaceutical science, and broader engineering groups to drive drug development activities

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry (or similar field) with 3+ years of relevant industry experience, or M.S. with 6+ years of relevant industry experience
• U.S. Person status for ITAR compliance
• Experience with UV, NMR, FTIR, Raman, and Particle Size analysis
• Proficiency with chromatographic and affinity-based methods including HPLC/UPLC, LC-MS, SECMALS, GC, and SDS-PAGE

Preferred Qualifications

• Track record of method development demonstrated by publications in peer-reviewed journals or conference presentations
• Experience acting as a responsible engineer or technical owner of projects across the full project lifecycle
