About the role

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute experiments of varying complexity using a broad array of molecular techniques
  • Identify technical challenges and proactively troubleshoot and resolve issues during assay development
  • Document detailed observations and experimental results in internal tracking systems
  • Conduct complex data analysis and interpretation independently to support decision-making
  • Summarize findings and propose recommendations for follow-up experiments or alternative strategies
  • Communicate results clearly to the multidisciplinary team in a fast-paced research environment
  • Contribute to team performance by sharing knowledge and enhancing data quality standards

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in biochemistry, molecular biology, genetics, genomics, or a related field
  • 1-2 years of industry experience in the development of molecular biology applications or NGS assays
  • Proven experience in product development, including assay optimization, reagent development, and testing
  • Hands-on experience with NGS library preparation and sequencing
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with NovaSeq 6000 or NovaSeq X platforms
  • Knowledge of NGS secondary analysis techniques
  • Training or professional experience in the field of oncology, specifically regarding DNA and RNA variants
