Scientist 1, Oligonucleotide Chemist

Responsibilities

• Execute oligonucleotide synthesis utilizing automated solid-phase synthesis methodologies
• Conduct purification of synthesized oligonucleotides via HPLC and other relevant techniques
• Engage in project team discussions providing subject matter expertise
• Work with multidisciplinary teams including bioconjugation specialists, chemists, and biologists
• Maintain meticulous records of experimental protocols, results, and data analyses
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations within the laboratory

Requirements

• PhD in Chemistry with 0-2 years of industry experience OR Master’s degree with 8-10 years in biotech/pharmaceutical industry
• Expertise in solid-phase oligonucleotide synthesis and purification
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
