About the role

Responsibilities

  • Architect and direct the design, development, and implementation of integrated multi-omics data analyses and AI strategies.
  • Develop and deploy cutting-edge computational approaches, including interpretable machine learning models, for high-dimensional datasets.
  • Interpret complex biological data to support translational research in immunology, infectious diseases, and precision medicine.
  • Design, implement, and maintain production-grade, scalable, and reproducible analytical pipelines and workflows.
  • Oversee data stewardship, quality control, harmonization, and integration of large-scale data assets.
  • Provide technical mentorship and training to laboratory personnel, trainees, and collaborators.
  • Support grant development by contributing to research strategy, study design, and methodological sections.

Requirements

  • Post-graduate degree in Statistics.
  • Minimum of five years of related experience in integrative analysis.
  • Demonstrated commitment to enhancing awareness, knowledge, and skills related to equity, diversity, and inclusion.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PhD in bioinformatics, computational biology, systems biology, biostatistics, or a related discipline.
  • 10+ years of post-PhD experience in computational biology or multi-omics research environments.
  • Advanced programming and scripting expertise in R, Python, and Bash.
  • Extensive experience with high-performance computing (HPC) environments, cloud-based infrastructure, and containerized solutions (e.g., Docker/Singularity).
  • Expertise in integrating bulk and single-cell genomic, transcriptomic, epigenomic, proteomic, and clinical datasets.
  • Strong scientific publication record and experience in interdisciplinary research collaboration.
