About the role
Responsibilities
- Conduct analysis of time series data sets and waveform propagation
- Interpret time series waveform data to identify seismic, infrasonic, and hydroacoustic phases
- Distinguish signals from background noise
- Utilize seismo-acoustic analysis software for data processing
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a 9S100 seismic analyst in the US Air Force
- Minimum 3 years related experience in seismo-acoustic waveform analysis
- Proficiency with software such as ARS, Geotool/Seatools, or SAC
- Understanding of digital signal processing and spectral analysis
- Experience navigating Linux environments
- Experience running programs in Python or Matlab
- Active TS/SCI security clearance (US Citizenship required)
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to build an average of 60 seismic events per day
- Experience with large disparate data sets and data fusion analytics
- Experience with Magnitude, Distance, Amplitude Correction (MDAC) methodology
- Ability to conduct spatio-temporal analysis
- Familiarity with Government mission sets
