Scientific Analyst

Responsibilities

• Complete sample analysis to required timescales and quality standards
• Ensure samples meet compliance with the quality management system (QMS)
• Handle complex analytical techniques and interpret analytical data effectively
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues, including preventive maintenance
• Investigate and report non-conformance incidents on the QMS
• Provide instructional training to colleagues to required standards
• Maintain daily service delivery in line with company KPIs
• Adhere to Health and Safety policies, including COSHH Risk Assessments and PPE requirements

Requirements

• Degree or equivalent in a scientific subject
• Previous laboratory experience is preferred
• Strong problem-solving skills and high attention to detail
• Ability to deliver instructional training and work effectively within a team
• Excellent IT and communication skills
