Science Teacher

Responsibilities

• Deliver inspiring live online Science lessons five days per week
• Design personalised learning experiences
• Build trust-based relationships with students in a virtual environment
• Collaborate with a high-calibre team of innovative educators
• Support student progress through differentiated instruction
• Provide meaningful formative assessment, including quality feedback and summative assessment aligned to curriculum goals
• Contribute to the functioning and growth of the curriculum team
• Develop genuine partnerships with parents and caregivers to support learning

Requirements

• NZ Teaching Registration
• Science teaching qualification and subject expertise
• Strong knowledge of NCEA curriculum (Levels 2-3)
• Excellent communication skills and comfort with digital technology

Preferred Qualifications

• IGCSE teaching experience
• Online or blended learning experience
• Familiarity with educational technology and AI platforms
