2+ years experience in education or childcare, Experience leading groups of children, Reliable transportation, Commitment to at least 5 weeks
About the role
Responsibilities
- Supervising campers
- Implementing provided science and technology lessons
- Keeping kids engaged while maintaining a safe environment
- Working with other staff to provide an excellent camp experience
- Maintaining punctuality for all scheduled shifts
Requirements
- Experience working with and teaching children
- Ability to lead a classroom of 20 children
- At least 2 years of experience in education or childcare
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to commit to at least 5 weeks (certified teachers may work as little as 3 weeks)
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified teacher status
- Experience with technology
- Background in science or technology fields
