Science Professor

Responsibilities

• Teach a variety of life, biology, and health science courses, specifically Anatomy & Physiology
• Mentor, advise, and support the development of young adult students
• Participate in faculty meetings, committee assignments, and curriculum assessment
• Engage in campus life and contribute to the recruitment and retention of students
• Spend at least 30 hours per week on campus from August through May

Requirements

• Master's degree in a relevant field required
• Ability to teach Anatomy & Physiology and other life/health science courses
• Strong commitment to Christian values and the mission of the Christian Churches/Churches of Christ
• Desire to mentor students and work effectively within a collaborative team

Preferred Qualifications

• Terminal degree (PhD, MD, etc.) in science, medicine, or a closely related field
• Significant professional teaching experience
• Extensive medical or clinical experience
