Science Laboratory Technician

Responsibilities

• Ensure the proper administration and management of laboratory resources, tools, and substances
• Perform general maintenance of the laboratory facilities
• Manage inventory, including the acquisition, installation, and care of materials and substances
• Review and authorize laboratory practices according to established parameters
• Support the development of laboratory practices for students and faculty members
• Assist the science department with special events and information sessions

Requirements

• Formal training as a Laboratory Technician (Técnico laboratorista)
• Proven experience working with laboratory substances and materials
• Strong service orientation and ability to support students and faculty
