Science and Math Teacher

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver structured, engaging Science and Math lessons tailored to each child's learning level, pace, and interests
• Use hands-on experiments, puzzles, and real-world examples to make abstract concepts concrete and meaningful
• Cover core areas including numeracy, arithmetic, algebra foundations, geometry, basic physics, biology, chemistry, and earth sciences
• Track and document academic progress through portfolios, notes, and regular assessments
• Adapt teaching methods based on the child's evolving strengths, gaps, and learning style
• Cultivate a love for scientific thinking through observation, questioning, and discovery
• Provide a calm, encouraging, and intellectually stimulating learning environment
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding progress, challenges, and next steps

Requirements

• Degree in Education, Science, Mathematics, or a related field
• Proven experience teaching primary-aged children in one-on-one or small group settings
• Strong ability to explain complex concepts in simple, age-appropriate language
• Fluent in English (Arabic or Spanish is a plus)
• Based in Dubai or committed to relocating
• Organized, self-directed, and comfortable working independently within a home environment

• Ability to connect science and math to everyday life and nature
