School Wellness Center Nurse

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care and emergency on-campus response to students, including BLS and anaphylaxis care.
• Administer scheduled and PRN medications as prescribed and maintain accurate medication inventory.
• Document all clinical encounters and maintain complete student health records.
• Communicate student absences and wellness center visits to the Dean’s and Athletics offices.
• Maintain regular communication with parents regarding acutely ill students.
• Perform Point of Care testing as prescribed by the Nurse Practitioner.
• Coordinate with pharmacy vendors and monitor medical supply inventory.
• Support care provided by the consulting psychiatrist and School MD.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and professional wellness center environment.

Requirements

• Current or eligible RN license (or higher).
• Proficiency in BLS and Anaphylaxis care.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
• Ability to successfully complete CHRI, CORI, and SORI background checks.
• Ability to work the required overnight schedule: every Tuesday (3PM - 7AM) and every other Saturday (12PM - Sunday 12PM).

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working with adolescents and their families.
• Experience working within an international boarding school setting.
• Experience collaborating with diverse teams of adults to support student wellness.
