School Social Worker

Responsibilities

• Deliver individual counseling, group counseling, and social-emotional learning instruction
• Collaborate with families, educators, community providers, and multidisciplinary teams
• Contribute to IEP development, progress monitoring, and data-driven intervention planning
• Assess student risk and facilitate access to crisis intervention and emergency services
• Support staff development and participate in ongoing professional learning

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution
• PA Licensed Social Worker or Licensed Clinical Social Worker credential
• Minimum two years of experience in a school setting, including internship experience
• Valid Act 34, Act 151, and Act 114 clearances
• Knowledge of child welfare, special education, and applicable regulations
• Strong communication, case management, and documentation skills
