About the role
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with school and district staff to identify at-risk students and support family engagement.
- Establish and maintain partnerships with community agencies to improve student, family, and community wellness.
- Support immigrant and migrant families by facilitating communication and referring them to essential resources.
- Coordinate health service access, including regular screenings and assistance with medical records/immunizations.
- Implement restorative and trauma-responsive practices to support student and family healing.
- Document referrals, track progress toward goals, and perform regular follow-ups with families.
- Coordinate with the LUCSC Program Director and other staff to plan and facilitate community-focused events and committees.
- Support data collection processes and needs assessments for grant reporting and program evaluation.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 2-3 years of program management or case management experience.
- Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work in a relationship-oriented environment.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Experience coordinating multifaceted programming within underserved communities or public education systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in a related field (Education, Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or Human Services).
- Spanish-language written and oral proficiency.
