About the role

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain trusting partnerships with diverse stakeholders, including youth, families, community leaders, school staff, and university constituents
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all activities occurring in partnership with the school district and Lewis University
  • Coordinate multifaceted programming and initiatives within underserved communities
  • Collect, organize, and maintain program data to identify strategic priorities and plans
  • Manage multiple initiatives, coordinate partners, and meet deadlines using strong organizational skills
  • Co-coordinate Project R, a restorative program held on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons
  • Engage collaboratively with school leadership, educators, and community partners to improve student and family wellness

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Experience in education, social work, psychology, nursing, sociology, human services, or a related field
  • Proven experience building and maintaining community partnerships (2-3 years preferred)
  • Experience in program management and coordinating programming within public education systems
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Proficiency in essential technology tools (Microsoft products, Google products, AI, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree
  • Experience working specifically in P-12 school settings
  • Spanish-language written and oral proficiency
